What this covers. These terms apply to this website — gethomba.com — which at present does one thing: collect waitlist signups. They are not a service agreement. If and when Homba launches, the service itself will have its own terms, which you'll be asked to agree to before signing up.
The waitlist
Joining the waitlist is free and creates no obligation on either side. It is not a purchase, a reservation, or a guarantee of access. We may not be able to offer the service to everyone who joins, and we may not be able to offer it in every area.
What we're describing
Homba is a service in development. Everything described on this website reflects what we intend to offer, and features, pricing, and availability may change before launch. Nothing here is a binding commitment to deliver any specific feature.
Emergency calling
This is important enough to say plainly, in advance: Homba is not a replacement for a traditional phone line, and the kids' calling feature is limited to a list of contacts the account holder approves. It cannot be used to reach emergency services. Every household should keep a reliable, independent way to call 911.
Using this site
Please don't submit other people's email addresses without their permission, attempt to disrupt or overload the site, or use automated tools to submit signups. We rate-limit signups and may remove entries that appear to be automated or submitted in bad faith.
Accuracy and availability
We provide this website as-is. We try to keep it accurate and online, but we don't warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and to the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for losses arising from your use of it. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited by law.
Intellectual property
The name, design, and content of this site belong to us. Please don't copy them for your own commercial use.
Changes
We may update these terms; the date at the top of this page will change when we do.
